I am thinking of taking an ad out in the local paper for the months of March and April. However, my real question is regarding direct mail. This will be my first direct mail campaign and I think I will shot for a drop the 2nd week in March and then again the last week in March. Does this sound about right?

    Thanks for your input.

Ive always started postcards at the end of February into the first 2 weeks of March. In fact, you were a good reminder, cause I haven't even ordered my postcards yet.... Thanks. This will be my last year for 'hand delivery'. Next year, will be newspaper ads and mass mailer.

In the past, I have gotten a few in my mailbox during the middle of February... long before the 'break in weather' I try to let those early birds get their postcards out of the way before I flood the market with mine. Mines are always really creative and colorful. MANY times I have gotten' compliments and the 'job' simply based on my postcard. So now, it's been a challenge to myself year after year to create something 'better'....

I was working on my mailers yesterday. One of my other ad campaign starts in the next few days and will run all summer. You want things in works by the first of March.
