No two lawns are the same. But 60 minutes is always an hour. Even up here in Minnesota.
The question you need to ask is how much per hour is everyone averaging?
Up here we are between $65 & $75 per man hr.

How about a dollar a minute to cover the cost of the mower, oil and gas.
Plus a dollar a minute to pay your self. Skilled labor-(need to cover health insurance, too).
Plus 20 for cost of office overhead, and windshield time to arrive, (base fee).

I shoot for $2/minute on most accounts.

I feel like I'm in the minority these days with this opinion but on the income side, price per cut is only half the story. The other half of the equation is route density. If you're driving all over creation for $60 cuts you're not making any money. Likewise cutting every Tom, Dick, and Harry for $20 is a loser too. Take your total income for the day, divide it by the total hours worked for the day, that's how much you're actually bringing in per hour.

That said, raise your prices if you can of course. I'm just saying, along with pricing also look at the route density side of things. Look at your service area and see if you can reduce by say 25%, maybe 50%, and focus your marketing efforts in that core area. That can go a long way to increasing how much you're making per hour.

You can only compare yourself to others to a point. Which companies are you trying to price match? Large ones or fly by night ones? There will be a big gap in between those.

Are you making a healthy profit is the only question you need to ask yourself. With that said if you CAN go higher than go higher.

In reality, it comes down to what people are willing to pay.
A standard can cut faster than a walk behind,

Exactly. Its the same thing as me asking "well how much is my 5 year old wright stander with 2000 hours on it"

Its worth what the highest bidder will pay me for it. PLain and simple.
