I have a small lawn service business in Pascagoula, Ms. I do weekly and bi-weekly cuttings, and also side work such as install flower beds, weed beds, tree pruning, lay sod, etc. Due to Katrina and some recent deaths of elderly customers I have lost several accounts in the past 2 years, and I am now thinking about advertising. I would really like to get 1 or 2 big commercial accounts, but really have no clue as how to go about obtaining. Anyone from the South have any suggestions. Also I do not have a business license although I have been in the business for around 5 years. Do you recomend a license, and what are you thoughts on insurance? Thanks for any help!!!
