I have a customer that has several spots in his backyard that are straight mud. He proposed putting down some sod but I told him that with the bare spots being so small and scattered it would be more effective to just put down grass seed, and that it would blend in better. My question is this: these spots are only about 7-8 inches in diameter and rough circles...spaced randomly about 4-5 inches apart. Would my best bet be to tear up the whole area and put grass seed on the whole area...or just till the "spots" and plant seed?

    Thanks, Adam

Spot treating should be cheaper for the customer and require less work from you
