Ok. I'm sure I will get blasted here but I will ask anyway. Anyone know about Spray Green franchises? What aare your thoughts about the business opportunity?

Go easy folks, just trying to get information.

Never heard of it?? But if your going to start a LC business I would do it on my own instead of paying a franchise fee. especially one with little name recognition.

They are just a spraying company. There is no monthly franchise or marketing fees which was surprising. They say they make their money on the back end of their "juice" (liquid fert). And I'm sure they make a pile on you for the start-up equipment. You have to buy the truck, graphics and the spray equipement as well as the so called juice. You are given a proteceted territory. It looks like all they do is fertilizer applications though.

That's why I posted, to see what other thought or knew about the company. My applicator's license just came in the mail yesterday, haven't even had it laminated yet, and I am ready to start rolling!

Like Indyturf, I've never heard of it and name recognition is important when forking out large sums of cash. I can tell you this from experience though, fertilization programs aren't much use without a weed control program and vice versa. Save yourself some money on the "juice" and come up with your own "secret recipe",you'll be better off in the long run. JMO

I've seen them at trade shows. I don't know anyone one who has signed on, so I cannot provide any insight..
I'd suggest you contact franchisees to hear what they have to say.
I would like to know more about their product, they claim it's a miracle and that alone would make me walk away. The price of the truck & equipment is high. Buyer beware.

92k is a lot of money.

i guess you gotta ask yourself what you are getting for that, as with any franchise opp. and if you can do it yourself or is what they give you worth it in the long run.

no monthly fees is big, but like ted said, "secret juice" is a red flag.

they claim that not only does it fert and kill all weeds and pests in one app, but that it greens up turf in 20 minutes flat.

Where did you come up with $92,000? Seems WAY too expensive.

$99,500 and you get a 96 Chevy?? That kinda tells you they have had a few people fail at their business plan if they are re-selling trucks
