it's good to pass idea's along
Nice job Ant.
I'll wager that was a little more competitive than the store bought models. How long did it take to make? Raw material about $30.00?
Was that really 1997 or is that actually 2002 vintage dead New Jersey turf? LOL
about 2 hrs. to make and 15.00 in matt.
i have a dubble one also fits my greens wheele and the lesco spreader.
yep that's 2002 no h2o n.j. midnight blue grass..
Bad year for Blues down your way. They survived the drought OK up here so long as folks had an eye out for insects. So many people stopped treating when the drought kicked in. Too bad for them. Those who skipped summer insect control are paying for it now with renovations.
You've got to show me sometime how you attach the pics. I tried tonight on another thread, & it didn't work.
The directions said to bracket the url with on either side.
I've got one drawn up to build this winter. It will hold two spreaders and have two little angle iron dropgates for it, though. Same type of kickstand holder, though. I just want to be able to roll the spreaders up and down off of it, even with material in them. That's a nice job on that one.

on the front side you put the [img]. On the back side you put the [img], but you must also add a / . So the back side would be bracket, slash, img, then bracket. I can't actually type it out for you because if I did, then you wouldn't be able to see what I typed. Instead a red x in a box would appear.
I'm thinking maybe you forgot to add the /, that's why your pic didn't work?
HOW I DID THEM(pic)
scroll down on your post page(the one i am on now)
and click on browse next to attach files and find the pic you wont to pick....might be different for you...
see the pic of my screen ...at the bottom left is the browse button..
Steve you tried to show the whole page.
Must the image that you want to show, copy the URL from properties like I did for you on the thread.
The way ant showed you is to upload from your PC.
ANT what is the green push thingy on it?
Arent those extict yet?
I made my double last year. I never found a need for ramps, just slow you down. Double spreader rack $40 matl. 8 hours labor. Finding someone to operate the second spreader , Priceless.
Mark, What is that holding the back of the spreader down? All I can tell is it's red. I would like to build something like what you guys have made as it gets old lifting the spreader into the back of the truck. Looks really low, how high off the ground is it? By the way you don't have a patent on it do you?
