Has anyone ever used Spring Valley 22-0-4 100% Regain 40% Top Cut, MOP? Pros and Cons?
it's alright. The top cut is an organic similar to Milorganite which is your slow release. The urea is treated with Agrotain which is designed to suppress volatization. Research has shown that urea applied to 2 inch turf has little volatization as it melts and disperses into the soil first. The Agrotain is designed for agriculture. What you would need in the urea is a nitrogen stabilizer to slow the ammonium process down, that is what UFLESS & UMAXX have in them. It has no AMS of which in it which I insist upon for the soils I deal with which tend to be on the higher end of acceptable PH levels. Basically it is an ok cheaper fertilizer with organics.
Any issues with clumping?
No clumping issues but the organic can be dusty at times.
