Is there anyone on here in Great Falls, Montana that knows what would be a good per square foot lawn mowing charge for commercial and residential?

I am from st. Louis and would also like to know what to charge per sq. ft. It seems there is a great silence out there when it comes to this question. Either everone is busy cutting lawns or it's a secret.

There is a great book that could help you a lot.
    The Complete Business Manual
for landscape, Irrigation, and Maintenance Contractors
with Labor and Equipment Production Times
It is the third edition By: Charles Vander Kooi. (Well Respected-has seminars all over)

We have used this book. It gave us the knowledge to know how much it costs us to be in business per hour. We have all of our equipment and trucks broken down to cost per hour as well. There is stuff on how much sq. footage you can cover with a 21"-72" mower/hr with different levels of difficulty. When you know your cost per hour for each piece of equipment. You would be able to implement a charge using the square footage depending on the piece of equipment you use. I think you would find this very useful. It is well worth the investment.
