Man....I signed to get one, way back in November and still haven't got it.
did you jus sign up for the app or did you set up the full acount with your card info. They wont send it out until you fully set up all of the account. That was the number 1 reason for issues with not getting the reader when I researched it.
I looked into this pretty deeply. There seams to be huge issues with the reader not working, causing you to have to manually type in the card numbers. Tying in results in a large fee than when you swipe the card. The main reason to use this service is the availability of the mobile swiper but if it isn't reliable you are better off shecking if your bank offers any credit card processing services.

I signed up and got the reader in about 2 days. Have not used it yet. I saw that Intuit has the same type of offer. Would have gone for that one if I hadn't already signed up with square.
I didn't see the intuit one. I'll have to check that out as well.
Square up is a very cool device and service if you are a completely mobile service, and you can get paid on the spot.
The only draw backs are a much higher transaction rate, and even higher if you manually enter the transaction. Plus you have to take the extra time to do this, which will add up.
