How often do you guys cut? Once a week? At my house I always end up cutting every 5 days from about this point in the year on for a very good while. What do you guys do?

    Hi LSU,

We mow all of our St. Augustine weekly (7 days) during
the (usually May-October) fast growing season here in SW Florida.

Some of the well cultivated lawns could definitely stand to be mowed more often, but it would be hard to schedule
and most customers wouldn't want to pay for the extra mowings.

But if you're able to, more often is probably better
for the lawn and for your machine, assuming high growth rates.

We are mulching at a 4" cutting height and don't have any problems mowing weekly, even with the "super-cultivated"
    lawns using a Grasshopper 722D 52".

Yeah it would be hard to schedule shorter times in between and I agree customers wouldnt want to pay for it but on my lawn I cut more often just because I want it to look nice and it is conveniant.
