Stander fuel tank recall

    I'm the second owner of an 08 small frame 36 stander. The previous owner threw the grape vine has mentioned he got a letter for a recall on the mower I currently have. He's a police officer and is unable to be contact for an unknown amount of time... I guess he maybe undercover and this is how I ended up with his equipment and accounts? Will it cost me to have this recall taken care of even though I'm the second owner without paper work of original purchases? Also, if I'm covered how do I arrange for the work to be performed?

    For the recall's, it is the mower that is covered so the repairs will be at no charge to you. Go to our website, http://www.wrightmfg.com and select "Dealer Locator". If you have any problems, email me with your serial number and zip code and I will help you get the recall completed. Email to steves@wrightmfg.com.

    why did the replacement not come with the decal on it? i know it shouldnt matter but when we spend $8000 almost on a mower i figured the replacement would be up to the standard of you equipment. i have to say that we always keep our mowers clean and presentable and to get a tank recall but is replaced by one that looks like it came from walmart was a bid of a let down. just my thought but if you wanted to fix it i would probably let ya!! haha
  4. I had my tank done bout 2 months ago and thought the sane thing. It's not the biggest deal, but kind of a letdown like u said.

    kinda what all of us in KC think. you see a lot of standers in this area with the blank tank on it. its not my fault that the tank was bad, not theres ether just kind of a let down and thought they would take better care of the situation than that. oh well maybe we will get a response?

    Hello KC Lawn and Diamond Landscaping,

    My apologies for the delay in response. We've been preparing for the GIE+Expo and now most of our staff is actually there and not due to return until Monday. For whatever reason, the replacement tanks did not come with the logo. If you send me your mailing information in a private message, I would be happy to send you logo stickers for both tanks. My apologies for the inconvenience. But, at the time, we were more concerned with getting corrected tanks out to the field units fast and we weren't able to fuss over the lack of art. But I'm happy to send you the stickers.
