Starting a new job

    Building a lean off my new barn, the barn is 40'x224'. The lean is going to be 16'x224'. i think i'm going to start digging tomorrow. then order the sand monday. Good job for the bobcat.:weightlifter:

    I hate lean-to's, we have an Uncle in my family that built lean-to's on lean-to's, eventually he only had 6 feet of headroom under the gutters, he started out with a bunker that was 30 feet tall, and went berserk from there. [​IMG]

    We call him Uncle "Lean-to".

    That's funny, around here you see that also, the famers start off with one big barn, probably 25' tall and just keep adding a lean-to over the years as the aquire more crap that needs to be stored. Like you said I've seen them go from 20' all the way down to less than 5' tall:usflag:

    If the lean-tos are done right it can be a cheap way to gain space but they can get pretty goofy looking.
