I have a Ransomes 4x4 which is the same thing as a Steiner 420 that I bought used. I want to change the hydraulic oil and filter but not sure what needs to go back in it. Does anyone know what type should go in?

    good morning
there are only 2 approved oils. the steiner hydro oil and the amsoil synthetic replacement. we use the synthetic because in cold temps the steiner oil would not let us steer the unit or pick up the bucket and we use it for snow removal as well.

let me know if you need anything else

Thanks cnflawn, I got the oil changed okay. I made a bracket on the front so I could use our 6' magnet to sweep a parking lot for nails today. I also got my aerator all ready top go.
