I'm looking for a connecting rod, piston and rings for a stock bore Kohler 8horse model 181. I found a rebuild kit on ebay with everything I need and more but I never heard of the company that manufactures it. The company is Stens/Rotory. Are they any good,or are these just some cheap knock off parts. Any input would be greatly apprieciated.

They are an aftermarket parts company owned wholly by the Ariens company.

Lots of deaers use their parts with no problems. Good customer service.

Cheaper than dealer prices, for the most part.

Many parts that Stens and Rotary sell are made by the same maker as Kohler, B&S, etc.... buy theirs from. In some cases, both companies sell the same parts in the Kohler, B&S, etc... packing even.
