What are you opinion's on a curved shaft vs stright shaft edger. I have a Stihl Kombi system and want to get an edger attachment.

I have a kombi with most of the attachments. I bought the curve shaft. It is much much easier to use than the straight shaft: flower beds, curves, etc. If I had like 3 or 4 miles of straight curb for the county for something I might consider a straight shaft. My Kombi runs the heck out of the curved shaft and has plenty of power for the overgrown edges that you sometimes run into in this business. For me, it's curved shaft only.

I have a Kombi system as well. I gotta say, this system is perfect for me. I bought the curve edger cause that's all they sell and I love it. I only have the edger and weed eater attachment. I'm a one man show and I got a stick edger and weed eater for $500 instead of $650. And it saves room.

I haven't using the striaght stick edger, but the curve works great.
