Hi,I'm looking for a new trimmer,I now have an FS 85(it's about 8 years old) that I use as a trimmer and brushcutter,I'm looing to add another one.My dealer is real impressed with the 4-MIX engine,I like the idea of more torque.Any opiniions on how they compare? Thanks.

FS 110 for trimming and FS250 bike handles for brushcutting!

if you like the fs 85 you will love the fs 100 or 110 with 4 mix.

I have the 100. Its way more than I'll ever need for basic trimming.

    Good unit.

I have my Stihl Fs 110 for 7 months now. And I love it! It has a lot of power, and not too heavy. I am only 5'8'' and 150lbs. Anything bigger than this, it will be too heavy for me.
I also used it w/ my stihl Hl-km 0-90 degree hedge trimmer.
    Good luck

all my future stick purchases will be 4 mix. easier starting, more power, quieter, better fuel economy, what's not to like.

Thanks for the response guys.I use the trimmer for regular trimming as well as clearing brush.I wonder how the FS 130 with the new 4-MIX technology compares with the FS 250?

I have the FS 110, mainly used for regular trimming. When I first got it I had to do 2 hours of brush cutting with it though. Did great...
