I just bought a 1 yr old Stihl FS 250 for $100 from a homeowner. He had 2 of them from his ranch and now that he sold the ranch he does not them them both. He asked if I would be interested in one, I said yes how much, he said $100, I said SOLD....

He had the receipt for it and everything.

I just bought a brand new FS 90 2 months ago, and figured I could use the 250 for backup or for jobs when 2 trimmers are required....

    Killer Deal I thought....

I just bought the fs90 also. Tons of low end torque.

Great deal. The 250 has a ton of power. IMO way too much for anything other than brush cutting or seriously high grass. But still good too have.

another LCO mentioned that same thing to me about it being too powerful. my fs90 with the 30cc is plenty. I just figured for a hundred bucks it would be a sweet backup as my echo srm 260, which is currently the backup, has a broken trigger and is a pain in the butt....
