Hey! I have tried just about everything. Any help would be great. It was running fine until yesterday. Starts fine but doesn't want to get to a high rev. I hold the throttle and it takes 10 to 15 sec to get to top speed but once I let go even for a sec it has to rev itself back up again, all the while making a loud coughing sound (only description I could think of) I checked the throttle cable, readjusted settings, etc..The only thing was I ran out of my usual 2 stroke oil and used a different brand, still a top brand. I ran this for maybe a 1/4 of a tank. Could this have done it and how do I fix it?
    Thanks in advance!

Key words were "tried just about everything". Just got around to yanking the spark arrestor screen out and runs like new on the first try. Thanks anyways!
Usually remove it from the getgo.

Glad you found that. That would have been the first thing I suggested, then the fuel filter, then taking the muffler off and cleaning the exhaust port.
