I am needing to know what others think about the multi-attachment weedeaters.
Mine is working great, just bought it, I got the Echo PAS 260.
Work good I got the Stihl with a chain saw, weed eater, and hedge trimmers.
I bought mine a few months back. I was a bit skeptical but, I really love it!
This is a great tool. I can carry less on the truck, and can change tools in a few seconds.
P.S. These are great for scrubs because when spilt in half it will easily fit beside your mower in the back seat of your Escort
Mine works great, have had it for 2 years and no problems.
I have had mine (Stihl) for over 2 yrs with basically NO problems. The "Jimmy Screw" that you use to tighten each attachment on with will eventually strip...so go ahead and pay a few bucks, have one in the truck. When it strips, everything is useless. My only other complaint is that the hedge trimmer attachment is heavy and not balance well, so its uncomfortable. I use mine mainly as a back up. You'll like it-
I bought a Stihl FS85RT in the spring but it started and ran terribly. I brought it back to my dealer without ever using it (two cold starts was enough for me). My dealer tried to get it to run better but couldn't even start it when I came back to pick it up. Maybe I just got a bad unit, but I traded it for a Shindaiwa instead, and it has been great.
Jimbo - That's a Taurus, not an Escort I'm driving.
Dang...Jimbo has been spyin on my setup...well, at least its an escort wagon !!!
