Hello all, first post here on lawnsite. I could not directly find the answer I’m looking for on the forums.

I’m about to pull the trigger on a slightly used (5 hours) Lesco Pro Aer 30 that’s sold by SiteOne. From what I’ve seen it’s just a Stinger that’s painted green and stickered with Lesco. It has a 23hp Vanguard engine instead of the 22hp Kawasaki FS651. Are there any other differences between this and the yellow one that’s still labeled as a Stinger Quad Aer 30?

Thanks in advance!

I spoke to site one and to be honest they really didnt have a good answer who would fix anything besides the engine. Till they figure out who will fix that machine I would not purchase myself.
That's exactly what I was thinking! I asked the guy that I was going to purchase one from and he said any Briggs and Stratton dealer but I don't really like that answer to be honest. I guess I will just order a Stinger and hopefully get it before next spring!

If I aerate a lawn and they have a rough lawn from the summer I usually overseed at that time. I believe most do the same ?
Most but not me. Lol. I use seed where it's needed. Quoting prices for cores with seed would be a very high price.
Aerating and not over seeding is like wiping before you poop… no point in it!.. I try to always overseed after aeration…
aerating is not for seeding. It's for the benefits of aeration. Just like aerating a fish tank. The turf that's in Pennsylvania will get new grass off the present grass. Seeding is if the lawn is totally beat up from fungus and surface feeding insect damage. Also if your trying to introduce a new cultivar of grass. Then yea overseeding is fine

Go to Home Depot, find a used classen for 900$ then buy yourself a John Deere 1023e with a d120 bucket. Northern tool sells a great aerator 48” for like 700$ trust me, the damage you can do with that set up will make those two look like ham sambos.
