A local nature center wants to upgrade some heavily traveled dirt paths with stone dust. Getting material on and off the trails will be tough. Wide enough only for a small tractor. I'd like to dig it out 6" and fill with process and stone dust, but pretty sure the budget won't allow. Do you guys have any suggestions?

hard to dig w a tractor. Use a dingo, Id spread the dug up dirt out in the woods off the sides of the path if they'll allow it. Haul in the dust with track carrier.

Stone dust will accomplish the same result of existing dirt, why not use 3/8 stone

There is a type of polymer that can be mixed with soil, and gives you the same benefits as stone dust. The name escapes me tho....
