Recently I posted a thread (in the "mowing" forum) on mowing a very steep slope at one of my commercial accounts. Well, they've decided to have me get rid of the contractor's grass mats and install some junipers with straw.

With this being a pretty steep slope, I am concerned with the straw sliding down over time and with heavy rains. Once the junipers get some good growth, I'm sure they'll help hold the straw but what about for this year?

Any good tips on pine straw installations on steep hills? Thanks:)
