Just for laughs, has anyone ever seen a striping kit for a 21" walkbehind.
Yea they come standard on most models. You know the back protective flap. It lays on the ground and if you are keeping straight lines it stripes great on rye grass I do it all the time with my snapper. looks really good.
i guess for more defined stripes, i need to make the flap heavier?
that would work better my flap is metal but I was thinking of welding some 3/16 plate on the back for more weight to give more defined stripes. good luck.
I have a 21" lawn boy or some crap. I made sort of a rolling pin with 3" pvc and 2 end caps, filled up with sand. Long bolt to fit thru the pvc and attach to the deck with a couple of pieces of aluminum el. Check the pics. They look so much better in person though. be nice:
those are sweet stripes for a 21". post some pics of the striper you made
That kicks ass for a lil walk after.
Here's my rig:
Not bad, jrzmac. I tried to make one of those a long time ago - never could get it to work. If you've ever seen one - what really stripes good is one of those powered reel mowers - wow.
thanks for the pics, i think i'll try that instead of weighting my flap down.
