Newb08, I just noticed that you are from Woodstock Ga. Not to far from Gainesville, the chicken capital of the world. I know that there used to be a chicken farm somewhere around the Commerce, Athens, (I'm thinking Gillsville Ga) direction from Gainesville that was selling composted pelletized chicken litter as a organic fertilizer. I cant remember the name of the place or the exact location so you will have to do a little investigating yourself to try and find them, but it shouldnt be more than an hour drive for you if you can find them.

awesome, do most chicken farms sell their chicken litter? Because like you said there are chicken houses everywhere. Does chicken litter make a good compost?
