I am bidding on a job which involves clearing brush on a hillside and then next spring mulching and planting.

I don't exactly know the best way to remove the brush, but I was thinking of spraying the brush and then roto-tilling the hillside...

I don't want any new brush sprouting up next year and wanted to know if you guys think spraying and tilling will do the trick?

Or, if you have any ideas that will work also...

    Thanks in advance

Spraying is fine, then I would cut it down after a week or two and try raking what u cut up so seeds wont become a future problem. I dont know if Id till it if its steep at all as u may see it wash off if it rains enough. I would just apply weed blanket and plant, then apply mulch

Don't waste time with brush cutter or mower hedge trimmer will do.

Just with the big limbs have to use small saw.
