Yes, a sulky will work fine on them, unless, you are mowing on fairly steep hills. Then, you might get drive belt slippage.

i have a sulky on my new 36" gravely gear drive, and have one on my 36" exmark metro that is 12 years old. no problems for me. I way about 200lbs and i have some hilly lawns i mow as well. i think you will be fine with a sulky, much better than walking
