Who makes a sulky with a lot of clearance under it. I prefer the two wheel but I use to tear up sprinklers with it. It was Jungle Jim's jungle wheels. I would catch the heads to sprinkler between the wheels and rip them out. Please don't tell me to go around them and then hit it with the trimmer.

I am having the same problems. I am going to switch to a single wheel Velke. Looks like most sulkies have about the same clearance, probably to keep operator in an ergonomic friendly position.

real question should be why are the sprinkler head up so far, they should be flush to the ground. i mow lots of irrigated lawns and only ever hit on head and when i repaired it i put it a few inches deeper and never had another problem.

Clark, if I put the sprinkler in its right, but home owners want them sticking up to get the water to go further I guess??? Mostly its older yards and you just don't see the heads until its to late.

As far as I know, there isnt any sulkies that sit higher than the 2 wheel jungle wheels. They sit pretty high up, you need something taller than them? Maybe you could find some taller tires to put on the jungle wheels, or try to find larger wheels too? Do not try a 2 wheel velke though, mine damn near rides on the ground! I think velke is the lowest riding sulky? Good luck, but let me know if you find one taller, as one of my friends prefers to ride high too!

Ill end up with a single wheel or another stander. Just sold both standers and left me with the Toro walk behind now which sucks.
