I have been using sulkys on belt drives for several years without problems. A hydro will pull a sulky better but, you won't have any problems with a belt drive other than slightly accelerated belt wear.

I've heard that your not supposed to run sulky's on belt drives either. no practical experience, just hearsay.

I'm running a Velky X2 behind a eXmark Metro (belt drive) with 48" deck and have no problems, actually couldn't imagine life without it. I'm considering some front end weights, I think it may help keep with front end down that the extra drag me and the sulky cause.

    Good luck! :blob3:

ExMark EZ Rider behind my Metro and no problems. Don't use it all the time but when I do it works just fine.

The Bobcat guy is right. A belt drive will pull a sulky with no problems. I have every unit using them but did go to the 2 wheel units. Looks better on the lawn
