Do any of you have to install sump pump drains before seeding a lawn? A local builder has this in the spec sheet they sent me?
I'm not sure how to handle this. Any info would be helpful

we do underground sump drains all the time. We use our irrigation plow and bury 1.25" poly pipe to the curb usually, and let the water dump into the street. We install a tee with a threaded plug at the house, so that an above ground hose can be attached when the in ground pipe might be buried.

Works very well, and get rid of that nuisance hose laying on the lawn all the time. We also tile a lot of the downspouts to the curbs as well. For that we trench and install 3" drain tile.
