Synthetic oil for first hydro service?

I just bought a Cub CadetZT2 50" that has the ZT 2800 hydros. The service manual says the oil and filter should be changed at the 70 hour mark. I'm a huge believer in taking care of my equipment. This means I do my service on my mowers much, much sooner and more frequent than what's recommended. I plan on doing the first hydro service at the ten hour mark. I normally use 20W50 oil in my hydros but this time I'm thinking I should go with 15W50 Mobil 1 synthetic.

What do you guys and gals think? I can't imagine using synthetic oil on a hydro transmission can do any harm, but I just wanted to hear other opinions.

Synthetic is fine. They call for dino on my Ferris units but I filled them w/syn first change and plan to never touch them again. Costs allot more than filling the synthetic based hydro systems eXmark and Wright use though
