Me and a friend have had a Takeuchi tl140 for a few years now. We have been using it on several different jobs and recently I found a good buy on a bobcat 709 backhoe attachment ($2000) in good shape and couldn't pass it up for small digs like trenches and drain pipes etc. We are small and don't really have the need for a mini ex machine right now with the initial cost but felt this would work for a while and get the need built up some hopefully.

My main question is does or has anyone ever had an attachment on their Takeuchi and if so do you still need the frame mounts? Unfortunately I jumped and now after doing a little research see that they are recommended on the Bobcat machines and just seeing if anyone has ever used on a track loader like ours and any other info would be great. We aren't planning on any heavy digs but you never know so gonna get ideas or if I just need to have the local metal shop make a couple of brackets and just weld or bolt them on. Thanks, Chris
