I just bought a used F250SD PSD. The previous owner had a hands free cellphone installed. A bracket (and wires) is mounted on the dash up under the heating controls and radio. Anybody know how to pull out the radio? Do I need the special tool? Help!!

    Thanks in advance

Take a heavy duty hanger, one of the gold ones like the ones that pants come on, cut yourself two lengths and bend them into U-shaped pieces, kind of a flat bottom U-shape. You want the U to be somewhere in the neighborhood of 4-6", 8" max. Insert into both holes on both sides of the radio. You are going to have to play with and wiggle it a little bit, but eventually it will slide out. The fatter the hanger, the thicker the diameter of that wire; not exceeding the diameter of the hole, the easier it will be.

Good Luck. If you need pictures, let me know.

visit your local car audio shop
they will have the ford KEYS
    to take it out. Or
    wal-mart and auto zone
    have both sold them at
    one time.
