I have a new yard that was sodded last nov, now there are spots of tall fescue coming up, is there anything I can do besides use roundup?

If you use roundup you are going to kill everything , not just the fescue.

If the tall fescue hasn't become too widespread, you might be able to get away with just pulling it out. If the barespot isn't that large, the bluegrass will likely fill in the spot.

You mention fescue, but is it possible this is crabgrass? Some people get the two confused, although it's usually the otherway around.

Pre emergent was down early and just followed up so I really think it is Fescue. Plus been pretty cold ground temp so guessing it's not crab grass.
