Well, a couple days ago I picked up my new Tanaka PF 225 trimmer. [I had purchased a Stihl and promptly returned it for exchange for the Tanaka -- the Stihl was a horrible trimmer (with the 4 mix engine)]

I wanted to have a powerful Tanaka that can handle an Edgit attachment. So I put an Edgit on this -- in order to do that, I swapped the Tanaka gearbox with an Echo gearbox (the only way to fit an Edgit on a Tanaka -- the Edgit will bolt right up to the Echo gearbox). I also put a padded D handle on it.

I used the trimmer on several lawns today, and so far it is my favorite trimmer ever! Usually a new trimmer takes a bit of getting used to. Not this one. SMOOTH as silk, smooth acceleration, and LIGHT. And it's nice to not have a safety trigger to worry about.

Now I have a powerful Tanaka w/ an Edgit, and a Tanaka 230 for lighter jobs.

Just another great piece of Tanaka equipment on my trailer!

Glad you like like. I think you have the TBC-255PF.
