Tanaka vs Maruyama Multi Use trimmer

    I have a dealer I like sells both Tanaka and Maruyama multi use tools I am looking at the Tanaka 260sf or the Maruyama 2610 the warranty is a year better on the maruyama, but I hear good things about the tanaka.

    Anyone ever use either who can reply to which they like, or a dealer who has advice on either.

    I've heard that the Maruyama machines tend to be very heavy, though I have no experience with them.

    have a maruyama hedge trimmer 3 years now. thing cuts great, real heavy duty machine that i think should last forever. is a bit heavy but i think all gas trimmers are.

    i agree-the maruyama is an execellent unit but heavy
