Check your own state laws. In Connecticut, we have to charge a sales tax for the service we provide, and for any products we sell to a customer.

Is there a place online where a person can find out this kind of info? Taxes etc. I am in Ohio and would like to scoop on operating it legitimately. Thanks,

Most states don't require you to charge tax on services, but if you base your operations in one state and do business in more than one, watch out!
