Im looking for help in construction ideas for an outdoor fireplace. I would like to see some different methods being used. If you have any photos of a project under construction that would be great.

Looking to get some behind the scenes framing ideas. I was thinking 2x4's with cement wall boarding, and then either a veneer stone for the finish or manufactured wall stones.

I am not a big fan of bricks but have used them in the past.

    Thanks in advance.

Look into the modular ones they sell. Definately the way to go for non-masons. EP henry is distributing one just got prices on them today. Do a search on here lots of threads about them.

do you want it recessed or close to ground level?

IS it up against something (like an indoor fireplace) or open 360?

    Lots of variables here
