I hate borrowing money and paying interest, so I don't have a line of credit.

I have a business savings account that I use as overdraft protection for my checking account and to cover expenses in case the checks don't come in time. I keep enough in the account to cover about 2 months of expenses and only dip into it when I absolutely have to....I kind of consider it sacred.

we do the exact same thing darryl, savings overdraft prot for checking. every deposit i make, i put 10% into the savings. at the end of the season, we use this to pay the bills over the winter, and for startup in the spring.
