    I recently purchased a Toro 30187 44" WB.

I feel really great about it, but I have a question for the pros. I have been reading the service manual and I think I have a handle on it all, but one thing suprises me. Nowhere in the manual does it talk about greasing! Friends, collegues, and even the guy who sold it to me says that I should grease the thing daily. Should I just know this, and why wouldn't that important bit be in the manual?

Thanks for any info!! Anything else I should be greasing?

That is weird. There must be something which shows you the grease points, and the recommended intervals. Maybe get the dealer to show you. One of my mowers has a sticker which maps out the grease points.

I think daily is a waste. I follow what the manual says.

Look on the deck or the frame..Some manufacturers put a greese fitting chart on them also a belt routing chart. Also once a day does seem like a waiste of greese and time maybe more like once a week with heavy use....
