Yea some people are set in there ways and don't like change. The new lazer def seems worth it to me, It holds the hills 3 times better then the old lazer does, its just so much more balanced. I have to fiddle with the striping kit on the new lazer and try and lower it, it doesnt stripe half as good as the old lazer with the triton deck and the striping kit.
How is your new lazer doing on gas I see you got the kohler. I got the one with the kawi last week and mine is killing me on gas so far. I talked to my dealer and he said it should get better when the engine breaks in but I filled up put 4 hrs on it and gas light was on. Went to the gas station and put 10 gallons back in to fill up. That is like 2.5 gallons per hour. That sucks
Looking good gold pro! I need to make one of these threads lol Hows the season treating ya?
lol i mowed all day with it yesterday, and one yard this morning and only ended up putting roughly 2 gallons in it when i filled it up again. So it sounds like the Efi gets much better fuel economy then the non Efi.
Cant complain i suppose, picked up like 20 new accounts so far this season, so its looking pretty good right now.
Damn thats great! I Wish i was did that well... What you doing for advertisements? Im finally putting a website together
That is crazy how many hours do you think you put on those 2 gallons.
3.5-4 id say.
I've got an '09 model with 29hp kawi just like your's and it got better on fuel after 75 hours or so. Another thing to remember is that it uses alot of gas just running whether your putting around on a 10K lawn or a 5 acre estate its gonna use about 1.75 gallons per hour. BTW you wasted money on a stripe kit, it will do that without it. I have found that the best blades for me are the Exmark highlift mulching blades with side discharge in the fall and regular Exmark or Oregon highlift for spring and summer. I also mow Tall Fescue at 4" and mixed grasses at 3.25". Hope this helps, enjoy the new mower.
