I’ve been searching for new affordable 36” walkbehinds. Fix deck, belt drive. I started looking for used and I’m in contact with a guy selling a Scag 36ich fix deck belt drive for 2400. It only has 45 hours on it!! Looks super clean. Comes with bag and sulky. Is his a good deal? Or should I get a new. Toro on sale for 3399.00 a time local shop?

I think it would be a good investment. Scag is a good brand.
I have never had experience with a belt driven mower before but from some guys here they say that the belt can tend to slip on hills when it's wet.

Yes definitely a great investment! But if you do a lot of hills or work in the rain a lot, get a hydro. The belt drive with a sulky wouldn't work in the rain or on hills to well either. But a Belt drive are practically bullet proof, it'll last you along time.

Just a Honda Hrr216, gotta step my game up a bit. Honda has been runnin fine for me. Never seen a need for a commercial 21. My work is low key and I’m solo. I don’t tear my own stuff up. Just wanna keep doing what I’m doing and shred through lawns quicker, and pick up a bit more work. Thanks for the responses guys. I’ll be picking up the Scag tomorrow morning. Oh and no hills for me.
