I've been in the biz about 5-6 yeas - mostly solo-op, running smaller ztrs (my workload is about 60% residential accounts). I'm thinking about bidding on this mower from a local auction site and wanted to get some feedback. It shows about 836hours, serial number shows it was assembled Apr 2011, deck is 52". model # is WSTX5224KAWE. Main reason for buying is to replace a 42" ztr(residential) with a nice priced commercial unit. I'm also in between bagger systems so that would be a small plus, and this would be my 1st stander.
Mower in action here -->
I got about 2 days until auction drops

Any info would be appreciated!
Thanks!

Did you see the smoke from the muffler when the blades were engaged? Worn rings?
didnt catch that, thanks for pointing that out! are they pretty easy to replace on these?
they also have this one -->
but hour meter doesnt work
they have 2 wright standers for parts that arent going for much so far - not sure if they are worth taking a stab at or not

It wasn't a lot of smoke. Maybe it's normal. Gotta crack open the engine to replace the piston rings but don't let me scare you. Looks like a pretty clean machine.
