we were mowing lawns, and it started pouring rain. just then, my windshield wipers on the truck stopped working. it wasn't a fuse, it must be the motor. what do you do? bring it in for a costly repair, and create downtime as well? :nono: this is what i did: i tied a piece of string going from the drivers side seat (my side) to the passenger side wiper. then i tied a piece of string going from the passenger side seat (amigos side) to the drivers side wiper. as we drove, i pulled them up, he pulled them down. the show, must go on. this is bobbygedd's helpful hint #3,476. bet they didn't teach you that, in college. by the way, this was 2 months ago, and it still works great!

bob. what kind of truck is it and how did you remove the wiper linkadge from the wiper transmission? that would be the REAL tip as we all know wipers wont move without doing that.

Some tip. Next time use your head and take out the windshield. Now you can keep both hands on the wheel without pulling on some string. And you won't have to clean the windshield. Duane's useful tip# 826

when are you gonna cut holes in the floorboard and make a Flintstone mobile? That will cut down on the gas overhead.
