I need another machine to plow snow. Its a 1999 or so the seller says Bobcat 773F with 1600 hours on it with a heated cab. Has the Boss gauge option.

I have him down to $10,000. I have to drive 4hrs to pick it up.

Any thoughts? With the economy the way it is, I want to get a good deal.[IMG]

The money seems good. I doubt you would lose anything if you wanted out of it (assuming someone wanted it). Throw in that he delivers it to you and if he objects met in the middle somewhere. Atleast save some fuel money.

it doesnt seem to look that bad.. but the door doesnt look like a stock door which could mean no heat and no side windows which will be cold!! but you can add the side windows if it doesnt have any, but the heat might be a challenge. But i cant quite remember what the door looked like but from what i can remember that isnt a stock door.. But for a loader the 773 is my favorite skidsteer..

is this skid goin to be strictly a plow? or are you goin to use it for more?

JLM why don't you read the whole post, buddy. He says it has a heated cab on it.

That is the stock door for the F series, the newer G series Bobcats have a different door.

I'll use it the rest of the year for demolition, landscaping, etc but want to have a heated cab on this machine for it's primary use will be plowing.

It looks very clean in the pictures, has it been repainted? Check the loader arms where the tilt cylinder mounts to the central boss on the cross bar for re-welded bosses or cracks. You can usually find the year posted on the bottom of any of the safety related decals on the "g" series machines, I don;t know if the F series follows suit, look in the lower right side of the decal. (or have the owner check or e-mail you a close up of it). With the 4 hour distance I would request a lot of close up pictures.

well I picked it up. Turned it into a mini vacation into Canada to visit the casinos and to my buddys beach house, only added about an hour to the drive.

I'll post pics in a few days.
