So......has anyone here cut down longer blades for use on the Q36?

It would be outstanding if OREGON® would release a G5 Gator or a single notch profile blade to match the lift and profile of the 91-313 used on the Q32 and the 91-369 that can be used in the Q44.

There are 2 different blades that are longer that may offer some advantages to current blades. Going to order some and tinker.

Cutting blades is a bad idea, will surely be out of balance and nearly impossible to get the right length. Surely another manufacturer makes a blade the right length to use. Most 36" decks use the same length blades.

With proper layout and use of a balancer...works just dandy. I've cut down 91-621 for use on other mowers...for a Ultra Lift option.

    Q36 uses a 12.25" blade.
