Hey All - I have a 2 Toro Z 500 Zero turn mowers that have stock 23x9.50-12 NHS tires on them. Can I put 23x10.50-12NHS tires on instead? Any clearance issues? Isn't the 12NHS the important part as that refers to the rim diameter? Thanks, ERic:confused::usflag::confused:

12 stands for the rim diameter at the bead. The NHS stands for Non Highway Service. Most mowers that will take the 9.50" width will clear the 10.50"

You mean that the 10.50 will clear the frame or gas tank?

Make sure that the side clearance of your new tires is fairly generous, because when traveling across a hill, the tire sidewall flexes sideways an awful lot. (The stock 16x6.5-8 tires on my walkbehind tend to rub the frame on very steep hills, and there is at least 1/2" of clearance between them and the frame when on level ground).
