Yeah that's what I'm interested in too. Yes, he's still in business. His website it Just Mowing.
I did check out the site but it seemed automated. No pictures of recent work or anything to indicate they are still up and running.
Yeah, I think that's how he wants it. I called them up and he's still in business. I haven't been able to get a hold of him directly though.
Last time I checked, which was a few years ago, he was in the thousands of customers and had expanded into another city in Texas.
At the time of the original thread, he mentored a few guys on here, I think he just got tired of so many people calling him for advice, or to ask if he was real.
What I read from the thread was the same. People asking every question you could imagine to get ideas. The problem with a business like that is so many things have to be working to keep the machine in motion. He had a tight system to keep numbers in check, most of the people asking the questions don't understand that. They see 2k customers and think of all the money they could be making.
I remember him, it's been awhile. Funny though, there's a "Just Mowing" around here that is dirt cheap and very sub par work! He does a near by neighbor and it never looks decent but when you only pay 12 bucks.... This guy also has a "Just Plowing" and I think a "Just Gutters". Jack of all trade master of none I guess.
Yeah I suppose if I had a thousand or two customers that people's questions would get old after a while.
their instant quote thing is cool. Anyone know how that is setup?
