I'm thinking of buying a hydroseeder. I've talked with a contractor who gave me a quote of $350. to $400. per lot to seed new property (homes). Is this a low bid or not? It would be for several homes that are being built in the same residential area. I have NO experience.

Unless the lots are the size of my noggin that seems awfully low. Seeding is a risky business. Price it accordingly.

Exactly... And why is the contractor giving you a quote?

Thats a lot of homes to hydroseed for a 50,000 investment on a hydroseeder, I'd pass at that price
