Already i have several mulch jobs lined up, but am wondering if it is too early to mulch considering it gets cold at night still. Everything seems to be thawed out and dried out for the most part. Usually, we dont' start for another 2-3+ weeks, this is an early start for me on cleanup and mulch, but is it too early? Could it possibly cause harm putting down mulch now? All my suppliers get their mulch shipments in mid february so supply isn't a problem at all.

It's never to early as long as the customer wants the job done and is willing to pay to have it done

I agree - get to work.

I start mulching so that I am done just in time to start mowing.
