is it too soon to start approaching commercial properties about bidding for the 2009 Season?

It's never too early to let them know that you are interested in provideing services for their property. Develop a relationship with the person in charge and occasionally ask if they are happy with the services they are recieving.

never too early. Worst they can say is come back in November or something like that. At least then you will know when they will be looking for bids. Make sure to keep a log of what time of the year each different place looks for bids, so if you want to bid in the future you know about when to start talking to them.
